Charlotesville, Va. – Virginia sophomore Anna Redding (Concord, N.C.) has been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s All-Academic Team. It marks the second consecutive season she has been chosen for the honor. She is majoring in sociology at UVA.

Redding led UVA with a 74.63 stroke average this year and competed as an individual at the NCAA Regional Championship in Athens, Ga. She led the team at the Mason Rudolph Championship and the ANNIKA Intercollegiate where she posted her best score of the season shooting 6-under, 210 to place 11th overall.

To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete, regardless of classification, must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during his academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
