Hoos in the Pros
As the number of UVA baseball players in the Major League continues to grow, NBC29 caught up with current Detroit Tiger John Hicks. Hicks was called up by the Tigers this season and has appeared in 26 games with a .320 batting average. Check out the interview with Hicks here.Â
The Dodgers are the hottest team in Major League Baseballand former UVA standout Chris Taylor is one of the hottest players pacing theteam. Taylor is currently batting .312 for the season with 15 home runs and a.546 slugging percentage. Check out this quick highlight video post by the MLB.Â
Hoos Going Fast
During the Redskins Training Camp, several players had the opportunity to learn a different sport. Redskins fan Dale Earnhardt Jr. showed up to drive the guys around the track in a NASCAR car. Former UVA football player Morgan Moses was among the group that got to experience some serious speed as they each took three laps around the track.
