The entire #UVAWBB team got together to create a video discussing using their platform to “promote positivity and shed light on issues that are central to our identity and that society faces.” Each member of the team posted the video either on their Instagram, Facebook or Twitter feeds on the one month anniversary of the occurrences in Charlottesville. Watch the video to hear the powerful message of solidarity from these young women.
Big Game Brandon Does It Again
Former #UVABase pitcher Brandon Waddell weaved his postseason magic once again on Tuesday, working six scoreless innings in a win for the double-A Altoona Curve in the Eastern League Championship Series. UVA’s all-time leader with six career postseason wins, Waddell has pitched 19 scoreless innings in three playoff games across three seasons, one start with Class A Short Season West Virginia and two with Altoona.

Former #UVAFB and Chicago Bears running back Thomas Jones has transitioned to the world of acting. Jones, who previously had a role in Straight Outta Compton, will be starring in A Violent Man that will make its debut at the Oldenburg Film Festival, Sept. 13-17.
