CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia volleyball team (4-5) will close out its non-conference schedule, playing two matches against UCF in Orlando, Fla., at The Venue at UCF.

Both matches against UCF will have live stats and live streaming available through links on VirginiaSports.com.

SCHEDULE
UVA and UCF will play on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. The Cavaliers were originally set to play UCF and Ole Miss, but the schedule was changed due to issues from hurricane Irma.

HOOS HITS
Virginia is coming off its second home tournament. The Cavaliers finished 1-2, closing out the weekend with a 3-0 sweep over Ohio on Saturday.

Freshman outside hitter Sarah Billiard (Matthews, N.C.) continues to lead the team with 105 kills (3.39 per set). She has two matches with 18 or more kills this year.

Freshman Alex Spencer (Canton, Ohio) as stepped up with double-digit kills in three of the last four matches. Spencer is also second on the team with 77 digs.

Sophomore Chino Anukwuem (East Hanover, N.J.) is pacing the team at the net with 1.00 blocks per set.

Freshman Megan Wilson (Brookeville, Md.) is sixth in the ACC with 10.04 assists per set and sophomore Jane Horner (Mission Viejo, Calif.) is 10th with nine service aces.

OPPONENT INFO
UCF (5-5) finished 2-2 in the Central Arkansas Classic with wins over Central Arkansas and Southern. The Knights are averaging a .209 attack percentage with 12.8 kills per set. Kia Bright leads the team with 3.56 kills per set. Taylor Wickey leads the team with 39 blocks, while Jordan Pingel paces the back line with 4.20 digs per set. This will be the first ever meeting between Virginia and UCF.

The Cavaliers will open ACC play on the road at Florida State on Sept. 22 and Miami on Sept. 24.
