CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Members of the Virginia women’s tennis team continued competition at the Wake Forest Invitational on Saturday, with four players advancing to the third-place match or better in Sunday’s finals.

Freshman Maya Das (Potomac, Md.) will play for first place in her flight on Sunday, while senior Teodora Radosavljevic (Belgrade, Serbia), junior Erica Susi (Vero Beach, Fla.) and freshman Lizzie Baker (Washington) will all play for third place in their flights. Sophomore Camille Favero will play in the consolation bracket finals.

Das defeated Madison Riley of Wright State 6-4, 7-5 to advance to Sundays finals.

Alexa Webb of Western Carolina defeated Baker 6-3, 7-5, while Anna Ulyashchenko of Wake Forest defeated Susi 6-1, 6-2. Liz Norman of James Madison defeated Radosavljevic 6-4, 7-5. All three women will now play for third place on Sunday.

Favero defeated Megan Kauffman of Winthrop 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 to advance to Sunday’s consolation bracket finals of her flight.

The Cavaliers dropped both doubles matches on Saturday with the pairing of Radosavljevic and Susi, and the pairing of Baker and Favero dropping their matches.
