Hoos Behind the Scenes

Today we are going to peel back the curtain to acknowledge some of those who work here behind the scenes. First up, Cameron Ross shares this in-depth profile of Chuck Young, the voice behind the Hoos, in today’s Daily Progress. Six members of the Virginia athletics department attended the Women Leaders in College Sports convention in Dallas this week. The organization is the premier leadership organization that develops, advances & connects women working in college sports. In attendance were Katherine Palmer (men’s basketball), Valerie Richardson (senior associate director for athletics programs), Jessica Rippey (event management), Jane Miller (senior associate director for athletics programs), Calyn Witz (business office) and Sarah Holsinger (women’s basketball).
