Former UVA All-American Anthony Harris (@HoosDatDude) brought a UVA flair to his #MyCauseMyCleats during his @NFL game yesterday with the @Vikings. Harris honored a late UVA Women’s Lacrosse player, Yeardley Love, with cleats that paid homage to her and the One Love Foundation. The Foundation was founded in the wake of Yeardley’s passing to help ensure everyone understands the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship. Harris plans to auction off the cleats with the proceeds being donated to the One Love Foundation.
Former UVA All-American Lauren Coughlin earned her LPGA Tour Card this weekend. She finished seventh at the LPGA’s Q-School to become a full-time member of the 2018 tour that starts in January in Bermuda. It will be an eventful month for Coughlin. She and former UVA football player John Pond will be getting married one week before her LPGA debut which takes place in the Bahamas. That’s a pretty good site for a honeymoon! Read about it here.
