CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-
The Virginia men’s and women’s squash teams will travel to Providence, R.I., Cambridge, Mass., and Boston, Mass., to compete in eight matches over the weekend, with competition beginning on Friday (Jan. 26).

Live scoring will be available for Virginia’s matches against Brown and MIT. Fans can access links to live scoring at VirginiaSports.com and with a free subscription to Club Locker.

The Cavaliers will compete on Friday against Brown with both the men’s and women’s teams playing at 5:30 p.m. at the Pizzitola Sports Center’s Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion in Providence R.I. The men’s team will play on Saturday at 11 a.m. against MIT at the Barrie Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center in Cambridge, Mass., before both teams face Middlebury in Boston, Mass., at Harvard’s Murr Center. The women will compete against the Panthers at 3 p.m., followed by the men’s match 4:30 p.m. The weekend will conclude on Sunday with the men’s team facing Williams College at 10 a.m. The women’s team will compete against Williams at 12:30 p.m. and Wesleyan at 3 p.m. All matches on Sunday will be played at MIT’s Barrie Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center in Cambridge, Mass.

The No. 16 Cavalier men’s team (6-6) will compete against No. 13 Brown (3-3), No. 19 Williams (5-12), No. 21 Middlebury (5-5) and No. 22 MIT (13-3). The No. 16 Virginia women’s team (4-7) will play No. 11 Williams (9-8), No. 12 Brown (2-4), No. 13 Middlebury (7-4) and No. 21 Wesleyan (8-6).

In its last outing, the men’s team fell to No. 9 Drexel, battling in the 5-4 loss, before capping the weekend with a sweep over Richmond, 9-0. The women’s team also lost to the No. 9 Dragons, 6-3. The Cavalier women topped Georgetown, 9-0.
