Softball Home Broadcast Schedule Announced

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia athletics department announced Thursday (Feb. 8) that 11 Cavalier softball home games will appear on ACC Network Extra in the 2018 season.

ACC Network Extra is a dedicated digital channel for ACC sports which is available to authenticated subscribers of ESPN3 through WatchESPN and the ESPN app at no additional charge.

The schedule opens with the first ACC series of the year when the Cavaliers host Georgia Tech at The Park on March 9-11. All three games of the series against the Yellow Jackets will be carried on ACC Network Extra. In addition, the entirety of Virginia’s series with Syracuse (March16-18) and North Carolina (March 30-31) will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

Along with the three full series, Virginia’s finale against Virginia Tech on April 15 will be carried live. Midweek contests against in-state foes Liberty (March 14) and James Madison (April 25) round out the broadcast schedule for home games at The Park.
