Hoos Care

Former #UVAFB defensive tackle Andrew Brown has created a PledgeIt.Org fundraiser called Reps for Research. As explained in this Twitter video, Brown is using his appearance at the NFL Combine to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and breast cancer research. As he explains on his page, “I’m passionate about donating my time and resources towards finding a cure for this deadly disease, and that’s why, as I take the next step toward my NFL dream, I’ve launched this Reps for Research campaign on Pledge It. Please help me honor my mom and support Susan G. Komen by pledging for every bench press rep I record at the 2018 NFL Combine.” CLICK HERE to donate to his cause  (and yes, you can still donate this week even though the bench press has been completed).

Speaking of the combine, here are a posts of Brown and former teammate Micah Kiser from the Combine.

#SisterSister

#UVASB’s trip to the District Classic this weekend set up a family reunion as catcher Olivia Gott faced off against older sister Madison, a shortstop at Columbia. The meeting was the first and only of their collegiate careers. Check out the sisters’ story of growing up together in softball and the sibling rivalry in this video.
