#FutureHoos
Two members of the #UVAFH incoming freshman class, Grace Wallis and Greer Gill, are currently in Ireland, competing with the US U19 Junior National Team. UVA assistant coach Ole Keusgen is one of the coaches of the squad. The Hoos posed for this picture before Sunday’s scoreless draw against Ireland’s U21 team. They have two more matches on the tour, including one today and one on Thursday, before returning home.

This group of students at Meriwether Lewis Elementary School were clearly thrilled (especially the girl in the dead center of the photo) to be receiving letters from their pen pals, members of #UVASB. The Cavaliers have spent several years as pen pals for local school children, a relationship that is valued on both ends.
Opening Day
Though Major League Baseball’s opening day isn’t until Thursday, the Korean major league started their season this weekend. Former #UVABASE standout Tyler Wilson, who is in his first season playing in Korea after being on the Baltimore Orioles roster for parts the of the last three seasons, was the opening day starter for the LG Twins of the KBO League. He struck out seven batters and allowed two runs in six innings of work.
