On Wednesday, Tina Thompson was introduced as the new head coach of #UVAWBB. Among those in attendance to welcome her to the Hoos were two other former coaches, Joanne Boyle and Debbie Ryan. This photo encapsulates the future of the program flanked by 41 of 45 years of its history. Barbara Kelly, the first head coach in the history of the program, wasn’t at the press conference, in body, but she was clearly there in spirit (per her tweets from yesterday), bringing the grand tally to 43 of the 45 years of Virginia basketball in one room.
