CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 9 Virginia travels to the Longhorn Invite on Saturday (April 28) in Austin, Texas.
The Cavaliers will have four crews (Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four) competing against seven teams in two sessions on Saturday.
No. 3 Texas, No. 8 Iowa, No. 18 Oklahoma, Alabama, UCF, Oklahoma and Oregon State join the No. 9 Cavaliers in the eight-team field. In Session I, the Cavaliers will compete in Group B, which includes Alabama, Iowa and UCF. For team scoring, points will be awarded in the Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four.
Virginia’s race schedule on Saturday morning begins with the Second Varsity Four at 9 a.m. ET. The finals are set to begin at Noon ET.

UVA took four of five races from No. 10 Princeton on Saturday, April 21. The Cavaliers won the Varsity Four (7:27.9-7:46.7), Second Varsity Eight (6:35.3-6:44.7), Second Varsity Four (7:36.5-7:39.8) and Third Varsity Eight (6:53.1). UVA swept the Third Varsity Eight with top-3 finishes from each of its three boats.
The Cavaliers will compete in the ACC Championships on Sunday, May 13 in Clemson, S.C. UVA has captured eight consecutive ACC championship regattas and 17 of 18 ACC titles overall.
