CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia softball senior outfielder Allison Davis (Oak Hill, Va.) was named second team All-ACC, the conference office announced Tuesday (May 8).

The leadoff hit .317 in ACC play to lead all Cavaliers. She also led the team with 18 runs scored and drove in another 13 runs. On the season as a whole, Davis hit .365 to rank eighth in the ACC and led all league players with 65 hits on the season.
Davis also launched a career-high 11 home runs in 2018, a mark that ranked third in the ACC. The senior drove in a career-best 40 runs and scored 43 times to become the first Cavalier to eclipse 40 in each category since 2003.
