Tilley’s Run at US Am Ends in Round of 32

Pebble Beach, CA –Former UVA men’s golfer Brad Tilley saw his run at the 2018 U.S. Amateur Championship come to an end on Thursday. Tilley fell to Krisoffer Reitan 2 up in the round of 32 of match play. 
 
After splitting the first two holes, Tilley grabbed a 2 up lead with wins on the fourth and fifth holes. Reitan got the match back to all square with wins on the sixth and ninth holes. He went on to win holes 12 and 14 to take a 2 up lead that he never relinquished. 
 
Tilley graduated from UVA in 2006. He earned All-ACC honors as a junior in 2005.
