CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- The No. 13 Virginia men’s squash team (2-1) defeated No. 8 Princeton (0-1) on Sunday (Nov. 11) at the McArthur Squash Center. The Cavaliers battled to claim the last three points in the match and upset the Tigers 5-4.
“A huge win from the guys today, the best for our program to date,” head coach Mark Allen said. “I think this is the fourth or fifth time in the last three years where we have shown great character by bouncing back from a disappointing loss with a big win. Everyone on the team gave their absolute best and I think the players were inspired by being on their home courts in front of a huge and very supportive crowd. Thank you to all those that came down to McArthur to cheer us on.”
