UVA Opens Spring Season at Rebel Beach Invitational
Charlottesville, VA – The No. 17 Virginia women’s golf team opens the spring portion of its schedule at the Rebel Beach Invitational in Las Vegas. The event is co-hosted by UNLV and Long Beach State. This is UVA’s first appearance at the tournament.
Format: The 54-hole tournament will take place Monday, Feb. 18 and Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Spanish Trail Country Club. The par-72 layout covers 6,355 yards. The teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday. Both rounds will begin with an 8 a.m. PT shotgun start.
