Hoos Wrap Up Spring Break Trip at Linger Longer Invitational
Charlottesville, VA – The Virginia men’s golf team wraps up its spring break trip with an appearance at the Linger Longer Invitational in Greensboro, Ga. The tournament runs Friday through Sunday.
Format: The 54-hole tournament features 18 holes of play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Landing at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The 15-team field will go off the first and 10th tees starting at 8:30 a.m. each day. The par-72 course is set for 6,991 yards

Last Year: Virginia finished fifth at last year’s tournament, shooting 1-over 864. Alabama (840) bettered Georgia (840) by two shots to claim the team championship. Thomas Walsh was UVA’s top finisher, placing sixth at 5-under 211. Lee Hodges of Alabama took medalist honors at 5-under 211.
