UVA Sweeps Five Races at Oak Ridge Invite

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — The Virginia rowing team swept five races to conclude action at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational Sunday (March 17) on Melton Hill Lake.
 
The Cavaliers won all five of their races against Tulsa, Louisville and Indiana.
 
UVA posted wins in the Varsity Eight (5:47.100), Varsity Four (6:24.696), Third Varsity Eight (6:00.989), Second Varsity Eight (5:46.474) and Second Varsity Four (6:31.757).
 
The Cavaliers claimed 12 wins in 15 races at the two-day regatta in Tennessee.
 
Virginia returns to action at the Pac-12 Invite on March 30-31 in Redwood Shores, Calif.
