No. 8 Virginia Hosts No. 13 Duke Saturday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 8 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (8-3, 0-3 ACC) hosts No. 13 Duke (7-2, 2-0) on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

CAVALIER TIDBITS

  • Virginia is coming off a 14-9 win at No. 7 James Madison on Wednesday.
  • UVA is now 4-3 in games against ranked opponents on the season and is 3-1 at home.
  • Senior Avery Shoemaker (Wyndmoor, Pa.) scored five goals and freshman Lillie Kloak (Ridgewood, N.J.) had four goals and one assist in the win over JMU.
