Charlottesville, VA – After missing the event last season, the Virginia men’s team returns to 15th-annual The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate tournament. The 54-hole event runs Sunday through Tuesday at the par-72, 7,268-yard Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.
 
Format: The 54-hole tournament features 18 holes of play on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at Bulls Bay Golf Club. The 15-team field will go off the first and 10th tees starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday, 9 a.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The par-72 course is set for 7,316 yards. UVA is paired with Iowa State and Purdue during Sunday’s opening round. Those teams will start at 10:45 a.m. off the 10th tee.

Last Year: Ole Miss shot 19-under during the final round to best Kent State by a single stroke and take home the team trophy at 841. The Rebels’ Braden Thornberry took medalist honors at 13-under 203.
 
Up Next: UVA is in the field for the Clemson Invitational in Keowee, S.C. at the Reserve at Keowee. The tournament runs April 5-7.
