CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The No. 7 Virginia rowing team returns to action at the highly-competitive Pac-12 Invite on Saturday-Sunday (March 30-31) in Redwood Shores, Calif.
 
The two-day event will feature morning and afternoon racing on Saturday (March 30) as well as morning racing on Sunday (March 31). The Cavaliers will have four crews (Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four) competing in three sessions over the two days.
 
On Saturday, Virginia will race defending NCAA champion and top-ranked California at 12:10 p.m. ET and No. 11 USC at 6:20 p.m. ET. USC finished 12th at the NCAA championships last season.
 
The Cavaliers will close out the regatta against No. 3 Stanford on Sunday (March 31) at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Cardinal placed fourth nationally last season.
 
UVA opened the 2019 spring season on March 16-17 by winning 12 of 15 races at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
