CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 10 Virginia Cavaliers host No. Michigan and No. 7 Ohio State in a home regatta on Saturday (April 6) on Lake Monticello.
 
Admission to Virginia rowing home regattas is free to the public. Fans can follow race results on Twitter at @UVARowing.
 
The Cavaliers will have seven crews – Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four,
Second Varsity Four, Third Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Four and Fourth Varsity Eight competing in the regatta. UVA will race Michigan during the morning session from 9-11 a.m. The Cavaliers and Buckeyes will race in the afternoon session from 12-2 p.m.
 
Virginia will honor its senior class in a brief ceremony following the regatta. Final results from the regatta will be published on VirginiaSports.com.
 
No. 17 Syracuse and Duke will be part of the regatta, racing against the Buckeyes and Wolverines.
 
UVA won five races at the Pac-12 Invite last weekend in Redwood Shores, Calif. The Cavaliers topped top-ranked Cal in the Varsity Four (7:14.3-7:25.8) and Second Varsity Four (7:19.2-7:21.4) and No. 11 USC in the Second Varsity Eight (6:41.8-6:48.5) and Varsity Four (7:27.5-7:33.6) on March 30. UVA added another win against Cal in the Second Varsity Four on March 31.

From East/West: Take I-64 to exit 129; go right on 616 for 6 miles. Then go right on 600 for 1.5 miles. Then go right on 618 for one mile to the Lake Monticello Gate on the left. The lake is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
From South: Take 29 north to I-64 to exit 129; go right on 616 for 6 miles. Then go right 600 for 1.5 miles. Then go right on 618 for one mile to the Lake Monticello Gate on the left. The lake is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
From North: Take 29 south to Rt. 250 (Richmond exit). Stay on 250 to I-64 East (Richmond). Take I-64 E. to exit 129; go right on 616 for 6 miles. Then go right on 600 for 1.5 miles. Then go right on 618 for one mile to the Lake Monticello. Gate on the left. The lake is 1/4 mile straight ahead.
