CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 10 Virginia rowing team returns to action at the Clemson Invitational on Friday-Saturday (April 19-20) on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
 
The two-day event will feature afternoon and evening racing on Friday and afternoon racing on Saturday. The Cavaliers will have five crews (Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Four and Third Varsity Eight) competing against 20 teams in three sessions over the two days.
 
No. 12 Wisconsin, No. 17 Duke, No. 18 Oregon State, No. 19 Syracuse, No. 20 Alabama, Boston University, Cornell, Dartmouth, Louisville, Minnesota, Navy, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, San Diego, Tennessee, Tulsa, Central Florida, UCLA, Washington State and join hos Clemson in the 21-team field.
 
Virginia’s race schedule on Friday (April 19) afternoon begins with the Varsity Eight at 2 p.m. The Cavaliers’ evening schedule is to be determined due to weather.
 
The Clemson Invitational concludes on Saturday (April 20) beginning with the Third Varsity Eight finals at 8:30 a.m.
