CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s lacrosse team (12-5, 3-4 ACC) earned the No. 5 seed in the 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship, taking on No. 4 seed Syracuse in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, April 24 at 2 p.m. in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
 
The tournament will be hosted by Boston College and held in Chestnut Hill, Mass., at Alumni Stadium. All seven games will be broadcast on the ACC Regional Sports Network (RSN) and ACC Network Extra.
 
The winner of the Syracuse/Virginia game will advance to the semifinals to take on either No. 1 Boston College or No. 8 Louisville at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 26. The winner of Friday’s semifinals games will advance to the championship on Sunday, April 28 at 1 p.m.
 
Virginia fell 16-11 on the road at Syracuse in the regular-season meeting.
