NFHCA Senior Game Release

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia field hockey senior striker Erin Shanahan (Pasadena, Md.) has been selected to compete in the 2019 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game.
Shanahan is among the 38 seniors who have been selected to participate in the game.

Annually, the Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game features the top senior players in the nation. Selected seniors are given the opportunity to represent their institution while competing against their peers. This year, the Division I Senior Game will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship, taking place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, following the conclusion of the NCAA semifinal games at Wake Forest’s Ketner Stadium.

Shanahan has been a member of the U.S. Women’s Development Squad for the past two years. During her collegiate career, the senior captain has played in 77 games with 42 starts, tallying 18 goals with 12 assists for 48 points.
