A total of 18 teams will compete on the course that borders the Intracoastal Waterway near Wrightsville Beach. In addition to host UNCW and the Cavaliers, the field includes Alabama, UCF, Florida State, Furman, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.

Virginia’s lineup for this year’s tournament includes senior Julia Ford (Shrewsbury, Mass.), junior Beth Lillie (Fullerton, Calif.), sophomores Haeley Wotnosky (Wake Forest, N.C.) and Riley Smyth (Cary, N.C.) and freshman Virginia Bossi (Como, Italy).
