CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 8 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (2-0) will close out its West Coast trip on Sunday, Feb. 16, at California at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET at California Memorial Stadium.

• Sammy Mueller (Pelham, N.Y.) scored six goals and had 11 ground balls to place UVA.
• Both of UVA’s wins to start the 2020 season have been decided by one goal.
• The Cavaliers opened the season with a 14-13 overtime win at No. 15 Navy.
• Ashlyn McGovern (Phoenix, Md.) had five goals in the Navy win.
• Goalkeeper Charlie Campbell (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.) is averaging 8.00 saves per game.
• This will be the first ever meeting between UVA and California.
• Cal played its first game of the season on Friday. The Bears fell 9-6 at UC Davis.
• The Golden Bears finished 7-12 in 2019.

• Campagna had 58 draw controls and a team-high 36 ground balls last season.
