CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia women’s lacrosse had three players named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors Women’s Lacrosse All-State Teams, the organization announced on Monday (June 1).
 
Seniors Sammy Mueller (Pelham, N.Y.) and Ashley Stilo (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) each earned spots on the first time, while sophomore Courtlynne Caskin (Potomac, Md.) was named to the second team.
 
Mueller, an Inside Lacrosse Second Team All-American, led UVA with 28 points on 21 goals and seven assists. She also paced team with 30 ground balls, 29 draw controls and 15 caused turnovers. The midfielder led the ACC in ground balls per game (3.75) for second straight season and was second in the ACC in caused turnovers per game (1.88). She was named ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week after leading UVA with nine goals and 12 ground balls in wins at No. 20 Stanford and California.

Stilo was named an Inside Lacrosse All-America Honorable Mention. The defender started all seven games appeared in on defense. She was second on the team with 12 caused turnovers, including a career-high four caused turnovers at No. 23 Duke. Stilo picked up a career-high four ground balls and added two caused turnovers in win at No. 20 Stanford.
 
Caskin finished with 21 points (16 goals, 5 assists) and was second on team with 16 goals and 26 draw controls. The midfielder ranked 11th in ACC in draw controls per game (3.25). She also added 16 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. Caskin scored in every game and had multiple goals in four contests with a career-best five draw controls in three games. She led UVA with career-high five points on four goals and one assist in win at No. 9 Princeton and led the team with two game-winning goals.
