CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 11 Virginia women’s soccer team (4-1-1, 2-1-1 ACC) continues to play at home on Thursday night with a top-15 showdown against No. 13 Louisville (3-1-0, 3-1-0 ACC) at Klöckner Stadium.

Due to health and safety considerations in addition to the current guidelines established for sports venues by the Commonwealth of Virginia, attendance at UVA home competitions is limited to family of student-athletes and each team’s coaching staff until further notice. There is no public admission to these events and all tailgating in University parking lots is prohibited.

STORYLINES

• The Cavaliers lead the all-time series with Louisville 7-0-0 and lead it 4-0-0 in games at Klöckner. The squads have played every year since 2014 with a pair of meetings in the 2018 season.

• The Cavaliers are ranked No.11 in the latest edition of the United Soccer Coaches poll and are coming off a 3-0 victory over Miami in the last outing.

• Junior Rebecca Jarrett tied a career performance in the win over Miami with four points as she tied a career high with two assists and added a goal

• Redshirt freshman Cayla White improved to 2-0-0 as she helped the Cavaliers to a shutout with her second start in goal this season against the Hurricanes. UVA has shutouts in both starts.
