- Parking is by Virginia Athletics Foundation pass only in all lots near the Carl Smith Center: Home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. Passes for these lots are obtained by donating to the Virginia Athletics Foundation. For more information about joining the Virginia Athletics Foundation call 1-800-626-8723.
- Hospital South Garage on Crispell Drive and Monroe Avenue at a per-game price of $11 in advance and $15 on game day. Available four hours prior to kick-off.
- UVA Emmet/Ivy and Central Grounds Parking Garages at a per game price of $11, $15 when purchased upon arrival on game day only. Available four hours prior to kick off. 2022 Update: Central Grounds Parking Garage is sold out with no opportunity to purchase in advance.
- Free public parking is available in the JPJ South, North Grounds, and Fontaine Research Park parking lots on a first come, first served basis.
- The City of Charlottesville will provide Free Trolley service from downtown to Central Grounds on Saturdays from 6:35 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. The Free Trolley runs approximately every 15 minutes depending on traffic and picks up fans at 615 E. Water Street (Downtown Station). Passengers heading to Scott Stadium should use either the Jefferson Park Avenue at Cabell Hall bus stop (#11155) or the Emmet Street at Central Grounds Parking Garage bus stop (#10472). Virginia football ticket holders can also ride Route 7 for free simply by showing their printed or mobile game ticket. Free rides will be honored from three (3) hours prior to kickoff until two (2) hours post-game. Route 7 serves bus stops near the downtown parking garages and along Emmet Street by the McCue Center and John Paul Jones Arena. Visit Transit | Charlottesville, VA for more information.
- Accessible parking at North Grounds (corner of Arlington Blvd and Massie Road). A DMV-issued placard is required to park in this area. A free shuttle operates from North Grounds to Scott Stadium, beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Men’s Basketball Parking on Game Days

- Reserved season parking passes are required for all levels of the JPJ Garage, the West Lot, East Lot, South Lot, and Cage Lot.
- Entrance to levels 1 & 2 of the JPJA Garage is from Copeley Road only.
- Accessible Parking can be accessed through the West Lot from Massie Road, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Entrance requires a state-issued handicapped placard.
- Parking is available in the UVA Emmet/Ivy Garage ($5.00 per game). Access to the Emmet/Ivy Garage is from Ivy Road only.
- General public parking is available at The Park on a first come, first served basis. A free shuttle bus operates from this area to John Paul Jones Arena, beginning one and a half hours prior to tipoff. The shuttle is accessible.
- Parking passes for men’s basketball are not valid for other events at the arena that require reserved parking passes (i.e. concerts, shows, or special events.)
- Lots open 1.5 hours pre-game and must be vacated 1 hour post-game.
- Additional parking can be found within minutes of the Arena. Please see the map for cash and free locations.
Women’s Basketball Parking on Game Days

- JPJ West Surface Lot, non-numbered garage spaces, South Lot and East Lot are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Entrance to levels 1 & 2 of the JPJA Garage is from Copely Road only.

Baseball Parking on Game Days
*Please note the Clear Bag Policy in place for home baseball games at Disharoon Park.
- For midweek and weekend games, free parking is available for fans in the JPJ South, McCue Center and John Paul Jones Arena lots.
- The Upper and Lower lots at Disharoon Park are reserved and by permit only. Vehicles must have a proper pass to access the Upper and Lower Lots off of Copeley Road on baseball game days. However, ADA spaces near the stadium are all first come, first served.
- Courtesy shuttles will be in operation at both the Klockner ticket booth gate as well as at the access road at the track and Lower Lot.
Lacrosse and Soccer Parking On Game Days
*Please note the Clear Bag Policy in place for home games at Klockner Stadium.
- Located in the JPJ South lots.
- All parking is free of charge and open to the public.
- Parking is also available at John Paul Jones Arena parking lots unless there is an event at JPJ.
Field Hockey and Track & Field Parking on Game Days
- Located in the JPJ South lots.
- All parking is free of charge and open to the public.

Volleyball, Wrestling and Outdoor Tennis Parking on Game Days

Swimming and Diving Parking on Meet Days
- Public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at Slaughter Recreation Center and the parking lot closest to the West Gate at Scott Stadium.
Indoor Tennis Parking on Match Days
- For indoor matches, limited parking is located free of charge adjacent to the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. Additional free parking is located near the entrance of the Boar’s Head Inn. Parking for tennis matches will be identified.
Rowing Parking on Regatta Days
- Located at the event site free of charge.
Softball Parking on Game Days
- Free parking is available for fans in the JPJ South, McCue Center and John Paul Jones Arena lots.
