TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Virginia senior WeiWei Gao (Cebu, Philippines) and freshman George Duangmanee (Fairfax, Va.) led UVA’s four individual competitors during the first round at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla. They both shot 2-over 74 during the opening round of play and are tied for 35th place.
Senior Andrew Orischak (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) is in 74th place after shooting 79 and Jimmie Massie (Lynchburg) is in 80th place with a score of 80.
The second round of the tournament will take place at Golden Eagle Country Club on Saturday. The Cavalier players will open play at 10:09 a.m. from the 10th tee. Live scoring is online at Golfstat.com.
