EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – The Virginia men’s golf team is in third place after the opening round of play at The Hamptons Intercollegiate at Maidstone Golf Club in East Hampton, N.Y. The Cavaliers shot 7-over 295 and trail co-leaders Georgia Tech and Northwestern by four shots.
