ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The No. 20 Virginia men’s golf team shot 8-under 280 during the final round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate to tie No. 13 Georgia Tech for sixth place in the 15-team tournament. A total of 10 teams in the field are ranked in the current Golfstat top-25.

UVA’s three-day total of 14-under 850 included playing the course at 18-under over the final 36 holes.

Sophomore George Duangmanee led UVA on Sunday by firing 5-under 67 to move up to tie teammate Pietro Bovari for ninth place at 7-under 209. Duangmanee’s round included a pair of eagles. Bovari, a junior, shot 3-under 69 during the final round to record his fourth top-10 finish. Duangmanee’s final-round score matched his low 18-hole total as a collegiate and was his second top-10 finish.
