CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 20 Virginia men’s golf team wraps up its fall schedule at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate that gets underway Sunday. The two-day tournament features 36 holes of play on Sunday followed by a final round on Monday. The event is being contested at Daniel Island Club on Daniel Island, S.C.
The 20-team field features Campbell, Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, Eastern Kentucky, Florida State, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Jacksonville State, Lehigh, Presbyterian, Purdue Fort Wayne, Seton Hall, South Carolina, USC Aiken, USC Upstate, VCU, Virginia, Western Carolina and Winthrop
The Cavaliers’ lineup for the tournament includes sophomore George Duangmanee, sophomore Chris Fosdick, junior Pietro Bovari and seniors Sam Jung and Jack Montague. Sophomore Jaron Leasure will compete as an individual.
Fosdick leads the Cavaliers with a 70.67 stroke average while Bovari is second at 71.17.
