No. 8 Virginia Takes on No. 9 Drexel Saturday, Colby Sunday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 8 Virginia men’s squash (5-4) returns to action after an extended winter break for two matches this weekend. The Cavaliers travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to take on Drexel (6-4) on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m. at the Kline & Specter Squash Center. The team will then take on Colby (2-4) on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 11:30 a.m. hosted by Pennsylvania.

MATCH DETAILS

• The match with Drexel will be a five-court system
• The match with Colby will be a three-court system

NOTING VIRGINIA

• The Cavaliers will take the court for the first time in 48 days following the cancellation of their first two matches after the winter break

• Virginia’s Aly Hussein, Omar El Torkey, and Myles McIntyre all enter the match on five-match win streaks

• The two programs have met once before when the Cavaliers earned a 9-0 victory

• The Hoos will return home on Saturday, Jan. 29 for a match with Denison at the McArthur Squash Center
