FROM HEAD COACH MARK ALLEN:

“It’s always great to be playing at home and on our own courts here at McArthur Squash Center. The women’s clean sweep of all three opponents this weekend sets us up nicely for the MASC Conference Championships and hopefully an opportunity for a re-match with Drexel on neutral territory and with our full line-up available. I know the girls will be fired up and ready for that one!”

“Special congratulations to fourth-year Mandy Haywood who represented UVA Squash for the 50th time on Saturday. Mandy has been such an instrumental player for us this past four years, and I’ll always be grateful she made the decision to join us here in Charlottesville. I am honored to have been her coach and am looking forward to watching her compete these next few weeks in what will be her last few matches for the team.”

ON THE HORIZON

  • The Cavaliers will turn their attention to the Mid Atlantic Squash Conference Championships scheduled to begin on Friday, Feb. 4 in Lancaster, Pa.
