LANCASTER, Pa. – No. 7 Virginia women’s squash (10-3, 3-1 MASC) is set to begin competition in the Mid Atlantic Squash Conference Championships over the weekend in Lancaster, Pa. on Saturday, February 5.

The tournament will feature a round robin format between all five member schools. Virginia will open its pursuit of the title with matches against Georgetown at 9 a.m. and Dickinson 11 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 5). The Hoos will then take on Franklin and Marshall at 9:30 a.m. and Drexel at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 6)

NOTING VIRGINIA

  • Virginia is ranked No. 7 in the latest CSA rankings

  • Franklin & Marshall finished the season with a 6-6 record (2-2 MASC)
  • The Diplomats enter the competition as winners of their last three

NOTING DREXEL

  • The Dragons enter the tournament as the highest ranked team by the CSA at No. 6
  • Drexel started the season 7-0 and finished with an 8-3 overall record
  • The Dragons were undefeated (3-0) in MASC play
  • Virginia is 0-4 against Drexel all-time including a 7-2 loss to the Dragons this season
