Pietro Bovari Named to PING All-Region Team

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Golf Coaches Association of America named UVA junior Pietro Bovari (Milano, Italy) to its 2022 PING All-East Region Team. It marks the first time Bovari has received the distinction.

Bovari led the Cavaliers during the 2021-22 season with a 71.06 stroke average. He led the team in scoring six times during the season including the ACC Championships and the NCAA Regional. He posted five top-10 finishes during the season including a runner-up showing at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate. That was his best finish as a collegiate. A total of 22 of his 33 rounds during the season were par or better.
