DUBLIN, Ireland – The U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team claimed bronze at the Uniphar 5-Nations Tournament that took place this past week. From June 19 to 26 at The Hockey Centre in Dublin, Ireland.

Sophomore Jans Croon and incoming freshman Daniela Mendez-Trendler played for Team USA.

The American squad opened with a 4-2 loss against the Netherlands, the 2021 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup champions. The team rebounded with a 2-0 victory against Ukraine before falling 4-1 against India. The Americans closed out round-robin play with a 3-2 win against host Ireland to set up a bronze medal match against that same team on Sunday. In the medal game, Team USA logged a dominant 4-0 victory.
