Four UVA Rowers to Compete at World Rowing U-19 Championships

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Four incoming University of Virginia rowers will compete at the 2022 World Rowing Under 19 Championships held July 27-31 in Varese, Italy.

Cillian Mullen (women’s quad), Elsa Hartman (women’s four) and Sarah Bradford (women’s eight) will represent the United States, while Riley Richardson (women’s four) will represent Canada.

Mullen, Hartman, Bradford and Richardson are part of UVA’s prestigious 20-member recruiting class for the fall of 2022.

The World Rowing Under 19 Championships is the premier event for rowers under the age of 19 and offers a total of 14 events.
