CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 9 Virginia field hockey team (3-2, 0-0 ACC) opens conference play at No. 21 Boston College (2-4, 0-0 ACC) on Friday, Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. in Newton, Mass.

  • The Cavaliers remained at No. 9 in this week’s NFHCA Coaches Poll. The team entered the season at No. 12 in the poll

  • Virginia’s two losses this season have been by a single goal. Last season, all nine of UVA’s losses were by one goal including a 1-0 loss in overtime to Boston College in the regular season
