CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Three former University of Virginia rowers will compete at the 2022 World Rowing Championships from Sept. 18-25 in Racice, Czech Republic.

Heidi Long (2019), Morgan Rosts (2018) and Hannah Osborne (2014) will represent UVA and their respective countries at the world championships. Long (Great Britain) will compete in the women’s four, Rosts (Canada) will row in the women’s eight and Osborne (New Zealand) will compete in the women’s quad.

Long recently helped Great Britain to a gold medal in the women’s four at the World Rowing Cup III with a world-best time of 6:18.64. Rosts helped Canada to a silver medal in the women’s eight with coxswain at the World Rowing Cup III. Osborne captured a silver medal in the women’s double sculls at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
