CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The men’s squash teams will be on the road for three matches this weekend, playing Harvard on Friday (Dec. 2), Dartmouth on Saturday (Dec. 3) and MIT on Sunday (Dec. 4).

HOW TO FOLLOW

  • Friday’s match at Harvard will begin at 3:30 p.m., with both men’s and women’s teams playing at the same time. The matches will be streamed on ESPN+ with a subscription.
  • Saturday’s matches at Dartmouth will begin at 1 p.m. Links for live results and the live stream are available on VirginiaSports.com.
  • Sunday, UVA’s men will play MIT beginning at 1:30 p.m.

ABOUT THESE HOOS

  • UVA enters the weekend 3-0 at the top two positions on the ladder on the men’s side. Aly Hussein leads the team with a 2-0 record at the No. 1 position and Omar El Torkey is 2-0 at the second position.
  • The Cavaliers are coming off a split weekend with then-No. 4 Yale and No. 9 Columbia. UVA topped Columbia 6-3 but fell 3-6 to Yale.

VS HARVARD

  • Virginia’s men are 0-2 all-time against Harvard. Last season the two teams met in the CSA Championship with the Cavaliers falling 8-1.
  • Will Holey took the lone win at the eight position on the ladder.

VS DARTMOUTH

  • Saturday will be the first meeting for UVA’s men against Dartmouth.

VS MIT

  • Virginia’s men and MIT will meet for the sixth time with the Cavaliers owning a 6-0 record.
  • Most recently, the two teams met on February 5, 2022, with UVA winning 8-1.
