CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia men’s soccer program has six competition days scheduled for the 2023 spring training period, four of which will be contested at home.
Virginia’s four home games will include matches against American (March 4), Georgetown (March 18), North Carolina (March 25) and Vaughn SC (Canada) (April 7).
The matches with NC State, Georgetown, and North Carolina are part of the 2023 Spring Soccer Cup.
Virginia is one of 10 teams to compete in the Spring Cup hosted by Wake Forest, joining Clemson, Georgetown, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Maryland, Virginia Tech and Pitt. Seven of the 10 participating teams ended the 2022 season ranked in the top-25.
Over the last five seasons, the 10 participating programs have combined for 39 NCAA Tournament bids, nine College Cup appearances and three national championships.
