CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Five Virginia women’s lacrosse regular season games are set to set to air on ACC Network (ACCN) and ESPNU, ESPN announced Thursday (Feb. 2).

Games that air on ESPN networks will also be available through the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

Virginia’s home game vs. Duke on March 8 will be televised on ESPNU. UVA’s home contests against Louisville (Feb. 26) and Notre Dame (March 25) will air on ACC Network. Also airing on ACC Network will be road games at Pitt (March 18) and Boston College (April 15). The remaining home games will be streamed on ACCNX.

Weekly schedules and commentators for linear designations will be available here throughout the season.

The Cavaliers were voted preseason No. 13 by both the IWLCA/Inside Lacrosse Coaches Poll and the US Lacrosse Magazine poll. Graduate student Ashlyn McGovern and junior Aubrey Williams were named US Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans. The Cavaliers also return reigning ACC Rookie of the Year, Rachel Clark.
