STATESBORO, Ga. – Freshman Bryan Lee leads a group of four Cavaliers competing at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate taking place in Statesboro, Ga. Lee posted rounds of 70 and 74 for a 36-hole total of even par 144 to tie for 11th place after the first day of competition. The tournament does not feature team scoring.

Jack Montague is one shot behind Lee in 16th place after rounds of 70 and 75. Grayson Wotnosky is in 32nd place at 151 (75-76) and Matthew Monastero is 36th at 152 (81-71)

Georgia Southern’s Parker Claxton leads the field by four strokes at 9-under 135.

A total of 62 players are competing in the field. The tournament is UVA’s first of the spring.

The final 18 holes get underway at 8:30 a.m. Monday. There is no live scoring for this event.
