PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 6 Virginia men’s squash team (10-5) dropped its first match since December 2 with the 7-2 loss at No. 3 Princeton (7-2) on Saturday afternoon in Princeton, N.J.

UVA’s two wins in the match came at the one and five positions. Aly Hussein won 3-0 at No. 1 and Cullen Little won 3-1 at five. Little won the first two games before dropping the third but came back clinch the win 11-6 in the fourth.

Omar El Torkey won his second game to tie his match 1-1 but Princeton’s Karim Elbarbary won the next two as El Torkey fell 3-1 at No. 2. Taha Dinana won his first game to take the early lead but Princeton’s Thomas Rosini won three straight to win at three. JP Tew tied his match up with a win in the second game but also fell 3-1.

UVA’s six through nine positions fell in straight games.
