Cavaliers Close Out CSA Individual Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Virginia women’s squash players Lina Tammam and Maureen Foley both competed in the final of their brackets on Sunday at the 2023 CSA Individual Championships at the Arlen Specter Center.

Tammam made the final of the Holleran East B Division bracket. She fell 3-0 to Trinity’s Hannah Chukwu. Tammam only lost by two points in the first two games.

Foley fell to the Consolation bracket of the Holleran North B Division after dropping her first match of the competition.

She rebounded by going on to win the bracket with a 3-2 win over Drexel’s Moa Bonnemark. Foley dropped the first two games but came back to win the last three for the win.
