CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 21 Virginia women’s golf travels to Chicago this week for the Windy City Classic. The 15-team field plays 36 holes on Monday, Oct. 2 and a single round on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Glen View Club. Play gets underway at 7:30 a.m. for both rounds.
This year’s field includes Northwestern, Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Duke, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa State, Louisville, Oregon, Southern California, Texas, UCLA and Wake Forest.
Last year UVA tied for seventh in the 15-team field. UVA shot 34-over 898. Jennifer Cleary led the Cavaliers with a 12th-place finish at 5-over 221. Amanda Sambach was 19th-over 222.
